Biography of Dr. Julie Ann Allender
Julie Ann Allender, a licensed psychologist in private practice providing individual and group therapy and consultation for individuals, families and organizations. She uses an eclectic approach of cognitive behavioral therapy and humanistic techniques. She closed her office in Sellersville Pennsylvania in 2020 and semi-retired to Loveland Colorado where she has downsized and created a new office. Not as glorious as her Sellersville tropical garden, however, fits her simpler lifestyle. Less to do and more time to have fun.
She received her M.Ed. and Ed.D. in Psychoeducational Processes (PEP) from Temple University and received a GSPDP from the NTL Institute in Bethel, Maine. She has been an adjunct faculty member for Thomas Jefferson University, Penn State University, Temple University and other universities and was the founder of the Homebased Businesswomen’s Network in Lebanon, PA.
She is a past president of the Lancaster-Lebanon Psychological Association, a member of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association & American Psychological Association. Publications include a section of 20 Active Training Programs, co-author of Kids Concerns, author of End of My Rope: Gender Cooperation Model and Chronic Illness: Healing the Wounded Heart.
